1. Check the temperature setting of the
refrigerator section with the aid of a carton of
milk. Place a carton of milk on the top shelf for a
day. If the milk is then too warm or too cold, set
the temperature one number lower or higher.
2. Check the temperature setting of the freezer
section with the aid of a carton of ice cream.
Place the ice cream in the middle of the freezer
section for a day. If the ice cream is then too
soft or too hard, set the temperature one
number lower or higher.
Let the temperature stabilise for 24 hours before
adjusting it.
defrosting
You do not need to defrost either the refrigerator or
the freezer section. This is done automatically.
Any formation of ice on frozen products is normal.

Do not use an extension cable for connecting
the appliance.
Remove the plug from the socket before repair
work or cleaning.
Never pull the plug out of the socket by the
cable. Always grasp the plug firmly and remove
it straight from the socket.
Do not store any explosive or highly
inflammable substances in the fridge/freezer
combination. Alcohol and liquids with a high
percentage of alcohol should only be stored in
closed, upright containers.
Do not store in the freezer section any bottles
containing liquid which freezes. They could
crack open.
Do not touch the icemaker if the appliance is
connected to the electricity mains. The moving
parts could hurt you or the heating element
could burn you.
If you still have your old refrigerator at home
and no longer use it, remove the door(s). This
will prevent children shutting themselves inside
and endangering their lives.

clean the appliance with sharp objects.
In the event of damage to the cooling system
resulting in leakage of refrigerant, ventilate the
area. Warn the Service department immediately.
Never use the plinth, drawers and shelves as a

Never let children play with the appliance.
If you are supplied with an appliance which is
damaged, contact your supplier immediately.
Repairs should only be carried out by a
recognised service engineer.
