MAINTENANCE general
General
– Regular cleaning immediately after use prevents over-cooked food
being able to become ingrained and cause stubborn stains that are
difficult to remove. Use a mild cleaning agent.
– Clean the control knob, wok burner and pan carrier, and then clean
the glass plate. This avoids the glass plate getting dirty again during
cleaning.
Stubborn stains on enamel (saucepan supports, burner parts)
Remove with a non-abrasive cream or a soft sponge. Never use scouring
powder, scouring pads, sharp objects or aggressive cleansing agents.
Stubborn stains on the glass hob
Clean the glass hob with a cleansing agent intended specifically for
ceramic hobs. Water stains or limescale are most easily cleaned using a
non-abrasive limescale remover.
Cleaning removable burner components
The removable wok burner parts can best be cleaned using a mild
cleaning agent and a soft cloth. In the case of obstinate stains you can
soak the parts in hot suds. Never use scouring powder, scouring pads,
sharp objects or aggressive cleansing agents.
– Burner parts should not be cleaned in the dishwasher. The parts may
be damaged by the dishwasher detergent!
Do not use too much water as this can penetrate into the burner or
ventilation openings.
