Unsuitable pans, pan smaller than
12 cm or no pan on the cooking
zone.
See chapter
“Comfortable cooking”.
While cooking, you hear a rattling
noise in the base of the pan.
The noise is due to the high power
of the cooking zone having an effect
on the base of the pan.
This is normal for some pans on
higher settings. It is harmless for the
induction hob.
When you use the hob the first time,
you notice that it smells 'new'.
This is caused by the appliance's
finish heating up. It is perfectly
normal.
The odour will disappear of its own
accord as a result of ventilation.
You hear a ticking sound in your
hob.
This is caused by the appliance
switching over from the rear
cooking zone to the front one and
back again or if you choose a low
setting.
This is normal.
