introduction
The induction hob is fitted with a residual heat indicator, a
timer for the rear cooking zones and the double cooking
zone, two childproof locks, an automatic cooking-time limiter
and a double cooking zone. On this page and the following
ones, you can read how to use these facilities.
switching on
1 Put a pan on a cooking zone.
2 Press the on/off button to switch the cooking zones on.
The double cooking zone has its own on/off switch.
A horizontal line (–) appears in the display.
setting the power level
1 Press the + or the – button for the zone concerned.
The hob goes directly to setting 6.
2 Select a higher or lower setting by pressing the + or –
buttons again.
The display shows the setting selected. You can see which
setting to select in the cooking tables on pages 12 and 13.
The setting is displayed continuously, if there is a pan on the
cooking zone. The display blinks, if there is not a pan on the
cooking zone.
switching off
1 Press the on/off switch again.
All the left-hand cooking zones switch off.
The residual-heat indicator will continue to indicate that
the zone is hot if it still is.
2 You switch one of the four left-hand cooking zones off by
setting it to 0 using the + and – buttons.
3 Press the double cooking zone’s on/off button again.
The double cooking zone switches off.
The residual-heat indicator will continue to indicate that
the zone is hot if it still is.

what you should pay attention to
Do not use aluminium foil, such as the trays from ready-made
meals, for cooking food in.
If aluminium foil melts on the cooking surface, it cannot be
removed.
Grains of sand may cause scratches which cannot be
removed.
• Only put pans with a clean base on the cooking surface.
• Always pick pans up to move them.
• Do not use the hob as a worktop.
Always pick pans up;
never slide them.
