4) Een USB-printer delen
U kunt een compatible USB-printer aansluiten op de USB2.0-aansluitng van de
WL-500gP om de printer te delen met de gebruikers van het netwerk. Ga als volgt
te werk om de computers in te stellen die gebruik maken van een printer die is
aangesloten op de WL-500gP.
Een USB-printer installeren
Sluit de USB-printer aan op de USB 2.0-aansluting op de
achterzijde van de WL-500gP. Om vast te stellen of de printer
goed geïnstalleerd is op de WL-500gP draadloze router, klikt u
op Status & Log -> Status. Is het Printer Model (Printermodel)
correct en de Printer Status (Printerstatus) On-Line (On-line),
dan kunt u de printer in het LAN delen.
Een printerclient instellen onder Windows XP
Ga als volgt te werk om een netwerkprinter op de client te installeren.
1. Start de wizard Add Printer (Printer
toevoegen) met Start -> Printers and
Faxes (Printers en faxapparaten) ->
Add a printer (Een printer toevoegen).
2. Selecteer Local printer attached to this
computer (Lokale printer die met deze
computer is verbonden) en klik op Next
(Volgende).
3. Selecteer Create a new port (Een
nieuwe aansluiting creëren) en geef als
aansluitingstype op Standard TCP/IP
Port (Standaard TCP/IP-aansluiting).
Klik op Next (Volgende).
4. Klik op Next (Volgende).om de TCP/IP-
aansluiting in te stellen voor toegang
tot de netwerkprinter.
