IMPORTANT NOTE : The modifications made to the list will be saved only once you have selected
SAVE in the UPDATING BOUQUETS menu. If you press R or Q, the modifications will not be taken
into account and you will recover your initial list.
5.7 ADVANCED FUNCTIONS FOR MOTORISED INSTALLATIONS
In order to provide you with optimal use of your motorised installation, your XENA is equipped with certain
functions for tuning your motor.
IMPORTANT NOTE : if you are not familiar with these functions, we advise you to contact a qualified
installer. If they are incorrectly employed, your motor will become unusable.
a) LIMITS
If a physical obstacle (trees, walls, posts ...) hindera the movements of your dish, use this menu to limit its rotation,
EAST and WEST.
- Select PROGRAMMING in the main menu.
- Select DISH PARAMETERS
- Select ONE MOTORISED INPUT or MOTORISED INPUT A AND FIXED B, according to
your installation.
- Press OK again to go to the MOTOR SETTINGS menu.
- Select LIMITS, then select ACTIVATE THE LIMITS
- Select EAST or WEST
- Use the EAST and WEST buttons to position your dish at its Eastern and Western limits, the
press OK to memorise.
- If, at a later date, you no longer need to limit the rotation of your dish, you can select the
DEACTIVATE LIMITS function and press OK to enter. However,it is recommended that you
maintain these limits, to avoid damaging your motor.
b) CENTRING
The CENTRING function enables the motor to be repositioned at a position called 0˚ satellite. This position
corresponds to that of an imaginary satellite located at a viewing angle of 0˚ on the East-West arc of the satellites.
- In the same MOTOR SETTING menu as before, select CENTRING : the motor is centred automatically.
c) AUTOMATIC RESET AND MANUAL RESET
The AUTOMATIC RESET and MANUAL RESET functions are used to reposition the motor at O°
mechanical position, called 0˚ motor (corresponding to due South) and to reload the factory satellite
positions.
- In the same MOTOR SETTINGS menu as before, select RESET, then choose between AUTOMATIC
and MANUAL.
