11 De Elektronische Programma Gids
De Xena 1800HD is met een complete elektronische programma gids (EPG) uitgevoerd. Hier vindt
u de mogelijkheden van deze gids. Alle informatie is wel afhankelijk van de uitzendmaatschappij!
Ga in het hoofdmenu naar PROGRAM GUIDE
Selecteer nu het programma of boeket waarvan de u de EPG informatie wilt bekijken, dit kan door
op het programma of boeket te gaan staan en op OK te drukken.
Wanneer u op TVGuide drukt krijgt u automatisch toegang tot de programmagids.
U kunt eventueel ook op thema zoeken. Selecteer het thema, bijvoorbeeld NEWS en druk op OK.
Wanneer u nu op TVGuide drukt zal de ontvanger zoeken binnen de geselecteerde
zenders/boeketten naar uitzendingen met als markering NEWS.
Wenst u uitgebreide informatie bij de EPG, dan drukt u op i+.
12 Informatie over uw toestel
U kunt de softwarversie, de hardwareversie en het serienummer opvragen in het menu.
Druk in het OPTIONS menu op TERMINAL INFORMATION
Deze informatie kan ook van pas komen wanneer u vragen heeft aan uw leverancier over uw
toestel.
13 Software updates
De software van de Xena 1800HD of een van de common-interface decoders kan via de satelliet
worden opgewaardeerd.
13.1 Handmatige update
- Selecteer in het INSTALLATION menu DOWNLOAD
De mogelijkheden:
All satellites: Dit is een automatische zoekprocedure om een nieuwe software voor de Xena
1800HD te vinden, de ontvanger zal geheel automatisch alle satellieten afzoeken.
One satellite: De ontvanger zal geheel automatisch op slechts een satelliet zoeken naar een
nieuwe software voor uw Xena 1800HD.
Transponder: De ontvanger zal alleen zoeken naar nieuwe software op een door u ingegeven
transponder. Raadpleeg voor deze gegevens uw leverancier.
PCMCIA Download: Deze functie wordt gebruikt om de gebruikte Common Interface modules te
upgraden. U dient handmatig een frequentie in te geven. Neem voor deze
gegevens contact op met uw leverancier.
13.2 Automatische update
Elke keer wanneer u uw ontvanger in stand-by schakelt, controleert de ontvanger of er nieuwe
software beschikbaar is. Wanneer dit het geval is krijgt u hier melding van en kunt u kiezen deze te
downloaden. Wanneer er geen nieuwe software beschikbaar is merkt u niets.
