Assembly
Scope of delivery
The device is shipped in a carton.
The scope of delivery includes:
– The device.
– The safety key.
– Mulch plate.
– Impact protection.
– This operating manual.
– Manufacturer’s certificate.
– Operator’s manual of the engine manufac-
turer.
Unpacking
1. Remove all loose parts from the box.
2. Cut open the front side of the box.
3. Move the device out of the box.
4. Remove the attached safety key from the
device.
Mounting guide bar and handlebar
Fig.8:
1. Move the guide bar(1) backwards.
2. Adjust the guide bar to the desired height
and tighten with the two eccentric tension
levers(2).
Mounting the impact protection
Warning
When mowing without mulching plate or im-
pact protection, objects can be ejected.
► Mow only when the impact protection of
mulching plate was installed.

1. Slacken the nuts (3) and remove the
screws (3).
2. Remove the mulching plate (2) by pushing
the mulching plate to the left and remove it
from the support (1).

3. Insert the impact protection (4) into the
support (1) and push the impact protection
a little to the right.
4. Insert the screws (3) from the inside of the
device housing into the holes.
5. Screw down the impact protection(4) with
the nut(3).
Mount the mulching plate in the reverse order
of steps.
