Uitlijningsprocedure
Stapsgewijze richtlijnen voor het uitlijnen van de spiegels:
1. Maak de borgschroef op de spiegelbehuizing los zodat de spiegel met de hand kan
worden bijgesteld.
2. Stel de spiegel zo precies mogelijk af ten opzichte van de spiegel in de
tegenoverstaande kolom. Maak voor grotere afstanden gebruik van een periscoop.
Met een zoeklicht kan de tegenoverstaande kolom makkelijker worden gelokaliseerd.
3. Draai de borgschroef van de spiegel aan tot de spiegel niet langer met de hand kan
worden bijgesteld.
4. Plaats de MO instelschakelaars van beide toestellen op de overeenkomstige stand op
de spiegel
5. Stel de spiegel met behulp van een sleutel op beide toestellen bij tot er een maximum
aantal LEDs oplichten.
6. Herhaal voor de overige stellen spiegels stap 1 tot 5.

De parabolische spiegels kunnen horizontaal over een hoek
van nagenoeg 90° en verticaal over een hoek van ongeveer
15° worden bijgesteld. Op die manier hoeven de toestellen niet
bepaald in een richting te wijzen. Met de bijgeleverde
moersleutel kan de uitlijning uiterst precies worden geregeld.
Merk op dat wanneer de toestellen in kolommen worden
gemonteerd de speling voor het uitlijnen wel wordt beperkt.
Mechanische uitlijning met behulp van een periscoop
Plaats de steun van de periscoop op het bovenste stel spiegels
van de zender en, terwijl u door de periscoop kijkt, stel de
spiegel voorzichtig in zodat u in het centrum van de spiegel de
overeenkomstige spiegel in de tegenoverliggende kolom kunt
zien. Herhaal deze procedure voor de overige spiegels van de
zender en ontvanger. Wanneer tussen zender en ontvanger
een grote afstand moet worden overbrugd, maak dan gebruik
van een zoeklicht om het precies uitlijnen te vergemakkelijken.
