This is a short programme of approximately 10 minutes to condition previously
dried clothes. See section ‘Easy Iron Programme’.
It consists of a period of heating followed by a short cool tumble period (as
detailed below).
Select HIGH heat for this programme.
It should not be used on damp loads, as it is NOT a drying programme.
To set the required time, all you have to do is turn the Timer Control clockwise
until the required time appears in line with the indicator.
Never turn the Timer Control anti-clockwise.
The chart in the section ‘Guide to Drying Times’ will tell you how much time you
will need for various loads.
This programme is particularly useful in cases where a damp load is required
for ironing or LOW heat drying is required and also for small loads.
About 10 minutes before the programme is completed, the heating elements
are switched off, and the programme enters the final ‘Cool Tumble’ phase.
During this phase, the fabric is cooled. You should always allow the dryer to
complete this phase.
By opening the door, the dryer will stop and you can check the dryness of the
load as often as you wish and if you want to remove (or add) some items before
they are fully dry. (This is particularly useful for a mixed load where you want
to Iron some items, but others to be fully dried).
We recommend that the clothes are removed immediately this programme ends
to minimise creasing.
This light will glow when Auto drying is selected. It will stop glowing when the
load is dry and the programme advances to the cool tumble phase.
This light glows during any drying programme and goes out at the start of the
cool tumble phase.
The button is OUT for ‘LOW’ heat and IN for ‘HIGH’ heat.
The choice of HIGH or LOW heat depends upon the fabric you wish to dry (see
section ‘Sorting your Laundry’).
NEVER SWITCH THE DRYER ‘OFF’WITH A HOT LOAD IN THE
DRUM. YOU MUST TERMINATE EVERY PROGRAMME WITH THE
COOL TUMBLE PHASE.

Press the button IN to turn the dryer on.
The dryer will not operate unless the power button is IN.
When using the Time Delay, select the number of delay hours you require
before selecting the drying time. Select the delay period by rotating the timer
knob in a clockwise direction, to the number of hours delay you require. The
dryer will start its programme when the time selected has elapsed.
Do not rotate the knob beyond 12 hours (maximum delay time), or past the zero
stop.
If you have selected more delay than you require, turn the knob anti-clockwise
to select the correct time required.
Note: Ensure that the door is closed during the time delay period.
To set the required programme, all you have to do is turn the Timer Control
clockwise until the required selection appears in line with the indicator.
Never turn the Timer Control anti-clockwise.
This operation also starts the dryer, provided the door is closed, the machine is
plugged in and power switch on.

2. Automatic Drying large loads
3. Easy Iron Cycle
4. Timed drying (up to 60 minutes).
5. Cool Tumble Phase.
The Auto drying programmes will automatically dry most loads to the fully dry
ready to wear condition. This eliminates the need to guess the drying times and
saves energy. High Heat MUST be selected (Heat switch IN).
To select Auto drying, turn the selector to position.
for average loads and for large loads.
Auto drying average loads
1 to 3kg Cottons, Polycottons or Synthetics (Dry weight).
Auto drying large loads
3 to 6kg Cottons (Dry weight).
When the door is closed the Auto Drying light will glow to indicate that Auto
drying programme is running.
When the load is dry, the selector will automatically advance to the 8 minute
cool tumble phase.
If LOW heat is selected for an Auto drying programme, the dryer will
advance to COOL without drying the load.
For acrylics and acrylic mixtures, select LOW heat and use timed
drying.
Small loads (Less than 1kg) must be dried using the timed drying
programme.
Drying large loads on the average load setting will give a slightly
drier final result if required.
