Variaciones:
- Se pueden sustituir las fresas con otras frutas frescas o en almíbar como más guste (frambuesas,
moras, melocotones, melón, piña, etc.).
SORBETE FRESCO DE LIMÓN
Para 10 porciones de 1/2 taza:
2 tazas de azúcar
2 tazas de agua
1 taza de limón fresco exprimido
1 cucharada de corteza de limón picada muy fina (sólo la parte amarilla)
Mezclar el azúcar y el agua en una cazuela mediana y hervir con la llama medio-alta. Reducir el
calor al mínimo sin diluir hasta que el azúcar quede disuelto durante aproximadamente 3-5 minutos.
Dejar enfriar completamente (éste es el jarabe básico y se puede hacer en grandes cantidades para
tenerlo ya preparado cuando hagamos un sorbete con el limón fresco; mantenerlo refrigerado listo
para usar).
Cuando el jarabe obtenido de esta manera se haya enfriado añadir el zumo de limón y la corteza;
diluir para amalgamar.
Encender el aparato, echar la mezcla dentro del recipiente desmontable (D) a través del correspon-
diente orificio en la tapa (F) y dejar que se mezcle durante aproximadamente 40 minutos.
Variaciones:
- Sorbete de pomelo rosa fresco: sustituir el limón con 1-1,5 tazas de pomelo rosa recién exprimido
y sustituir la corteza de limón con 1 cucharada de corteza de pomelo rosa picada fina.
- Sorbete de naranja fresco: sustituir el limón con 1-1,5 tazas naranja recién exprimida y sustituir la
corteza de limón con 1 cucharada de corteza de naranja picada fina.
YOGURT HELADO DE CHOCOLATE
Para 10 porciones de 1/2 taza:
1 taza de leche entera
180 gr de trocitos de chocolate negro, de leche, etc.
2 tazas de yogurt de vainilla con poca grasa
1/4 de taza de azúcar.
Poner la leche y el chocolate en un batidor con pala metálica y mezclar hasta que el compuesto
resulte amalgamado y liso durante 20-30 segundos. Añadir el yogurt y el azúcar, amalgamar hasta
que todo quede homogéneo durante aproximadamente 15 segundos. Encender el aparato, echar la
mezcla dentro del recipiente desmontable (D) a través del correspondiente orificio en la tapa (F) y
dejar mezclar durante aproximadamente 40 minutos.
