4. Before You Start
• Unpack the carton carefully and keep all the packing materials unl you
ensure that the product is complete and working properly.
• Remove all packaging materials and foils. Retain them for later use. Check
that the appliance has been delivered completely and is in proper condion.
• Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth completely and allow it to dry com-
pletely.
5. Inial use
Inserng/replacing the baeries
1. To change the baeries, open the baery compartment at the top of the
appliance by unscrewing it.
2. If you have already inserted baeries, remove the old baeries and insert
two suitable new 1.5V AA baeries according to the correct polarity (+/-).
Pay aenon to the small scker inside the baery compartment and insert
the baeries accordingly.
3. Close the baery compartment by placing the baery compartment cover
and ghtening the screws.
Frothing milk
1. Fill the milk to be frothed in a tall container. Make sure that the container is
not lled by more than a third.
2. Immerse the whisk into the container unl it almost touches the base.
3. Turn on the appliance by sliding the "ON/OFF" switch to the "ON" posion.
4. Make slow circular moons unl the desired degree of frothing is reached.
Move the beater slowly and evenly up and down during the process. The
whisk should always remain in the milk.
5. Turn o the appliance by sliding the "ON/OFF" switch to the "OFF" posion.
6. Remove the beater from the milk once it stops.
7. Clean the appliance as described under "Cleaning and care".
• We recommend the use of milk with at least 3% fat content.
• For a beer result, heat the milk before frothing. Please note that the milk must not
be warmer than 70°C.
