5. Cleaning
Please follow these instrucons when cleaning to avoid injuries and damage to
the appliance:
1. Switch o the appliance before cleaning and allow it to cool down
2. Ensure that the mains plug is disconnected from the socket
3. Do not open the product
4. Do not immerse the appliance in liquids
5. Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents
The bowl and the mains cable can be cleaned using a slightly damp cloth.
If there is any calcicaon, use a soluon of water and a lile vinegar. Then boil
once using clean water only to remove the smell of vinegar.
Wipe the appliance dry aer cleaning. The egg holder, lid and measuring cup can
be cleaned using either detergent under running water or in the dishwasher.
6. Safety instrucons and disclaimer
Never try to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modicaons. Avoid con-
tact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The appliance is not
waterproof, therefore please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high
humidity, water and snow. Keep the appliance away from high temperatures.
Do not expose the appliance to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibra-
ons, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the appliance for
any damage before using it. The appliance should not be used if it was subject to
impact or has been damaged in some other manner. Please comply with the local
regulaons and restricons. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than
those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy.
Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons. Any repair or
modicaons to the appliance, which are not carried out by the original supplier,
will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The appliance should be used only
by those who have read and understood this user manual. The specicaons of
the appliance may be changed without prior noce.
