Note:

Please only use the water boiler with the lid. When heated, water can escape with-

out cover. There is a risk of scalding!

Place the water kele on the base and then press down the On/O switch. The

water is heated immediately. As soon as the water reaches the boiling point, the

water kele switches o automacally.

6 Decaling and cleaning

We recommend decalcifying the kele in regular intervals, depending on the inten-

sity of use. Before cleaning, it is essenal to remove the power plug from the sock-

et and wait unl the device is completely cooled down. The scale lter is located in

front of to the spout. Open the lid and pull out the lter. Then deep clean the lter

with warm water and reinsert it into the holder.

When inserng the lter, make sure that the retaining lug snaps into the guide rail.

Only use convenonal decaling agents based on citric acid. Please follow the man-

ufacturer´s instrucons for dosing the respecve product you have chosen. The

base plate must not be cleaned and should not be processed with sharp or hard

objects. For cleaning the outer surface of the kele, only use a damp cloth. Never

use hard or abrasive objects like a wire brush or a steel-sponge for cleaning. Please

do not use any aggressive cleaning agents which could be harmful or unhealthy. It

also could damage the surface.

7 Safety instrucons and disclaimer

Never try to open the device to carry out repairs or conversions. Avoid contact

with mains voltages. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not cered

for use in the open air; only use it in dry condions. Protect it from high humidity,

water and snow. Keep it away from high temperatures. Do not subject the device

to sudden changes in temperature or heavy vibraon as this might damage elec-

tronic components.

Examine the device for damage before using it. The unit should not be used if it has

received an impact or has been damaged in any other way. Please observe naonal

regulaons and restricons. Do not use the device for purposes other than those

described in the instrucons.
