7 Cleaning and Maintenance

Unplug the power cord from the outlet. Clean the motor unit with a slightly

dampened so cloth. Cauon! Do not clean the motor unit and the power

connecons with liquids. Do not use any aggressive, strong or abrasive cleaning

agents.

You can clean the blender jar, the lid and the blade unit in soapy water. The

blender jar and lid can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.

To clean the appliance quickly immediately aer use, you can ll the blender jar

up to about 60% with warm water and some dish-washing liquid and run the ap-

pliance briey. The remove the blender jar and shake it. Aer this, rinse only the

blender jar and the blade unit using clean water unl all traces of the dish-wash-

ing liquid are removed.

Allow all parts of the appliance to dry completely.

8 Recipes for smoothies

Banana-Kiwi smoothie

1 kiwi

1 banana

orange juice

half a teaspoon of honey

Finely chop the banana and kiwi, add them to the blender jar along with the

other ingredients, and prepare the smoothie.

Berry smoothie

85 g raspberries

40 g blueberries

1 teaspoon of honey

230 g natural yoghurt

Add all the ingredients to the blender jar and then prepare the smoothie.
