5 Brief operaon

The appliance is designed only for brief periods of operaon. You can use the ap-

pliance connuously for about 1 minutes. Aer this, you have to allow the motor

to cool down suciently before reusing the blender.

6 Inial use

Open the blender jar and ll it with the desired ingredients. It is advisable to start

by adding liquids. You can then add the ingredients (e.g., fruits) and nally add

yoghurt or ice cream.

Now x the blade unit onto the blender jar. Then connect the power plug of the

appliance into a properly installed power socket.

Place the blender jar with the blade unit onto the base unit. Ensure that the "ar-

rows" on the jar and base unit are at the same posion. Press the blender jar slight-

ly downwards and turn it in a clockwise direcon so that the blender jar is locked

in place.

As soon as you press the ON/OFF buon on the front of the appliance, the smooth-

ie maker starts to blend the desired contents. Release the buon once the desired

result is achieved or the brief me of operaon is reached.

You can then detach the blender jar from the base unit and remove the blade unit.

You can either pour the smoothie into a glass or put the lid on the blender jar and

store the smoothie in the refrigerator or take it with you when out and about.

Note: The appliance is designed only for brief periods of operaon. You have to

allow it to cool down suciently aer 2-3 minutes of connuous operaon before

you start blending again!
