4 Inial start-up
Please remove the kele and the heang element from the packing and clean the
unit with a damp cloth. Aerwards connect the kele only to a properly installed
grounded socket. Before regular use, ll the water reservoir with cold water to its
maximum level and boil according the following instrucons. Thereaer discard
the water in order to remove any residues of the producon process.
This device is designed for household use and similar applicaons only, such as
for example:
- in employee cafeterias, in stores, oces and other working environments;
- by customers in hotels, motels and other residenal facilies;
- in Bed and Breakfast establishments;
- in farm houses.
5 Handling
Press the opening buon to open the cover. Then ll the Arendo kele with cold
water and close the cover by pressing down the cover unl it locks.
Important note: Please make sure not to ll in more than the maximum level of 1,7
l as marked on the scale, which is located on the right inner side.Place the kele
on to the boom heang and set the On/O buon downwards to heat the water.
As soon as the target temperature has been reached, the kele will automacally
turn o.
6 Decaling and cleaning
We recommend decalcifying the kele in regular intervals, depending on the in-
tensity of use. Before cleaning, it is essenal to remove the power plug from the
socket and wait unl the device is completely cooled down. The scale lter is lo-
cated prior to the spout. Open the lid and remove the limescale lter. To remove
the lter, open the cover and push the plasc ap downwards. Then deep clean
the taken lter with warm water and insert it into the holder again. When inserng
the lter, take care that the retaining lug is xed to the guide rail. Only use con-
