5. Usage
Measure the rice and water and distribute the ingredients evenly in the cooking
vessel. Now place the cooking vessel in the rice cooker and close the lid.
Insert the power cord into a properly installed 230V AC power outlet and press
the "Mode selecon" switch on the front of the appliance. The red indicator starts
glowing.
Allow the rice to cook for about 20 minutes and then mix it with the spatula. The
rice cooker automacally changes over to the keep-warm mode once the rice is
ready.
Aer cooking, remove the power cord from the socket and then remove the lid.
Note: If the rice needs to be kept warm, then the power cord must be connected
and the lid should be in place. The keep-warm funcon will be terminated if the
power cord is removed.
For example, you can use the steamer aachment to steam cook your vegetables.
To do this, you have to place the steamer aachment on the cooking vessel and
then add the ingredients. You then have place the lid on the steamer aachment.
The approximate porons of rice and water depend on the type of rice.
Sample porons of rice and water:
For one measuring cup of rice, ll water up to the "CUP 1" mark. For two measur-
ing cups of rice, ll water up to the "CUP 2" mark.
For three measuring cups of rice, ll water up to the "CUP 3" mark.
For four measuring cups of rice, ll water up to the "CUP 4" mark.
For ve measuring cups of rice, ll water up to the "CUP 5" mark.
Note: For a beer result, we recommend that you rinse the rice beforehand with
water.
