4 Geng started

Please remove the kele and the base plate from the packing and clean the unit

with a damp cloth. Aerwards connect the kele to a properly installed grounded

socket. Before regular use, ll the water reservoir with cold water to its maximum

level and boil according the following instrucons. Thereaer discard the water

in order to remove any residues of the producon process. Repeat these process

if necessary..

5 Usage

At rst, open the kele. To do this, pull the cover on the plasc-handle to the top.

Please ll it with cold water. There is a scale on the exterior of the kele. Please do

not ll the case above the maximum mark. Then put the lid on the kele.

Note: Please only use the kele with the lid due to the fact that the automac

shutdown only works in closed posion. Furthermore, when heated without the lid

water can leak. There is a risk of scalding! Place the kele on the base plate and

press the on / o switch down. The water is heated. Once the water has reached

the target temperature, the kele shuts o automacally.

6 Decaling and cleaning

We recommend decalcifying the kele in regular intervals, depending on the inten-

sity of use. Before cleaning, it is essenal to remove the power plug from the sock-

et and wait unl the device is completely cooled down. The scale lter is located

in front of to the spout. To remove the lter, open the cover and push the plasc

ap downwards. Then deep clean the lter with warm water and reinsert it into

the holder. When inserng the lter, make sure that the retaining lug snaps into

the guide rail. Only use convenonal decaling agents based on citric acid. Please

follow the manufacturer´s instrucons for dosing the respecve product you have

chosen. The base plate must not be cleaned and should not be processed with

sharp or hard objects. For cleaning the outer surface of the kele, only use a damp

cloth. Never use hard or abrasive objects like a wire brush or a steel-sponge for

cleaning. Please do not use any aggressive cleaning agents which could be harmful

or unhealthy. It also could damage the surface.
