4. Instructions for use

• The breast shell insert is intended to be used by only one person.

• Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling.

• Position the breast shell insert in the breast shell with a gentle twisting movement.

• Select breast shell insert size 22 mm or 28 mm, to suit your nipple size. If your nipple rubs

uncomfortably on the inner side of the funnel, use a larger breast shell / breast shell insert.

If the areola is also sucked into the funnel, use a smaller breast shell / breast shell insert.

• The breast shell insert 22 mm ﬁts breast shell 26 mm, and the breast shell insert 28 mm

ﬁts breast shell 31 mm.

5. Cleaning

The breast shell insert is delivered ready for use and can be used multiple times.

After every use

Wash the breast shell insert as soon as possible after expressing. Rinse it under cold running

water and then either clean it by hand or in the dishwasher.

Clean by hand: Place the breast shell insert in a clean washing-up bowl used only for cleaning

infant feeding items. Do not place it directly in the sink. Wash the breast shell insert with soapy

hot water and a soft brush or clean dishcloth. After cleaning, rinse the breast shell insert well

under running water.

Clean in a dishwasher: If possible run the dishwasher using hot water and a heated drying

cycle. Remove it from the dishwasher with clean hands.

Air-dry: Allow the breast shell insert to air-dry in a clean area. Place it on an unused dish towel

or paper towel. Do not use a dish towel to wipe or pat breast shell insert dry!

Storage: Store dry part in a clean, protected area until needed, e.g. sealable food storage bag.
