Eerste gebruik
Dit toestel beschikt over een processor, een harde schijf en
een besturingssysteem. Het is dus eerder te vergelijken met
een computer dan met een dvd-speler, videorecorder of
televisie. Indien u niet vertrouwd bent met het gebruik van
computers, raden we u aan om even de tijd te nemen om alle
hoofdstukken van deze handleiding door te nemen.
2.1 De netadapter aansluiten
• Gebruik alleen de meegeleverde ARCHOS-lader/adapter.
• Laad de batterijen gedurende vier uur op alvorens het toestel voor de eerste
keer te gebruiken.
• U mag de Archos Video AV300 gebruiken na een half uur laden. Hierdoor wordt
echter de nodige laadtijd verhoogd.
2.2 De AV300 aanzetten
• Houd de PLAY/ON-knop gedurende een viertal seconden ingedrukt. Het
middelste rode indicatielampje gaat aan. Wacht even. Het besturingssysteem
heeft ongeveer 8 seconden nodig om op te starten.
• Als het toestel zichzelf uitschakelt nadat u de ON-knop gedurende enkele
seconden heeft ingedrukt, sluit dan de Archos-adapter/lader aan om te
garanderen dat de batterijen geladen worden.
• Als u per ongeluk de PLAY/ON-knop ingedrukt houdt nadat het toestel reeds
opgestart is, dan zult u een videosignaal sturen naar de video-uitgang en zal
het scherm leeg worden. Houd de PLAY/ON-knop nogmaals gedurende 3
seconden ingedrukt om terug te keren naar het scherm van het toestel.
2.3 De AV300 uitschakelen en energiebesparingsfuncties
Houd de STOP/ESC/OFF-knop

gedurende 3 seconden ingedrukt om het toestel uit te
schakelen.
In het Power-menu [Setup

Power: Battery Operation] bevindt er zich een Power Off-
parameter. Deze is standaard ingesteld op 2 minuten. Als uw AV300 gedurende 2 minuten
inactief is, wordt hij uitgeschakeld. Deze functie kan worden ingesteld op een waarde tussen
