7.10 Fire door handle
Care must be taken when opening and closing the fire door as any surrounding surfaces
will be VERY HOT.
The door catch mechanism utilises a ‘click to close’, system where by a receiving pin is
located on the body of the stove and a sprung roller catch is located on the fire door.
To operate, simply pull on the handle and the door opens, closing the door is simply a
gently push on the handle to engage the catch.
PLEASE NOTE: GENTLY FORCE IS ONLY REQUIRE TO OPEN & CLOSE THE
FIRE DOOR—FORCEFULLY PULLING OR SLAMMING THE DOOR CAN RESULT
IN ASH EMBERS BEING DISCHARGED TOGETHER WITH DAMAGE TO THE
STOVE & FLUE CONNECTION.
WARNING!
ALLWAYS USE THE GAUNTLETS WHEN USING THE FIRE DOOR HANDLE— RISK
OF PERSONAL INJURY MAY OCCUR.
CAUTION MUST BE GIVEN WHEN RE-FUELLING THE APPLIANCE, KEEP THE
GAUNTLET AWAY FROM NAKED FLAMES & SPARKS.
