BOUGIE
Lees aandachtig pag. 57
(ONDERHOUD).
Controleer de bougie om de 10000 km
(6250 mi) en vervang ze om de 20000 km
(12500 mi).
Draai de bougie van tijd tot tijd los,
verwijder zorgvuldig koolstofresten en
vervang ze zo nodig.
U komt als volgt bij de bougie:
WAARSCHUWING
Laat vóór het uitvoeren van
onderstaande handelingen de motor en
de uitlaatdemper afkoelen tot
kamertemperatuur, om brandwonden te
vermijden.
Ga als volgt te werk om de standaard te
verwijderen:
u Verwijder de dop (1) van de bougie (2).
u Verwijder alle vuilsporen van de voet
van de bougie.
u Steek de speciale sleutel, die u vindt in
de gereedschapsset, in de bougie.
u Schroef de bougie los en trek ze uit haar
zitting, ervoor zorgend dat er geen stof of
ander vreemd materiaal in de cilinder
terechtkomt.
Voor de controle en reiniging:
Legenda:
– middenelektrode (3);
– isolator (4);
– massaelektrode (5).
u Controleer of de elektroden en de
isolator van de bougie geen
koolstofaanslag of roestvlekken
vertonen; maak deze onderdelen
eventueel schoon met perslucht.
Als de bougie scheurtjes vertoont in de
isolator, als de elektroden verroest zijn, als
er sprake is van overmatige
koolstofaanslag of als de top (6) van de
middenelektrode (3) rond is geworden, dan
dient de bougie te worden vervangen.
