LANGE PERIODE VAN STILSTAND
OPGELET
Als de motorfiets langer dan twintig
dagen ongebruikt blijft, moeten de
zekeringen van 30A worden
uitgetrokken om slijtage van de accu als
gevolg van stroomverbruik van de
multifunctionele computer te vermijden.
OPMERKING Worden de
zekeringen van 30A verwijderd, dan zullen
de functies van de digitale klok in de
beginstand worden teruggesteld. Voor het
terugstellen van deze functies, zie pag. 20
(PROGRAMMEERTOETSEN).
Nadat de motorfiets gedurende een lange
periode heeft stilgestaan, dienen enkele
maatregelen te worden getroffen om
problemen te vermijden.
OPMERKINGVerder is het ook
belangrijk de nodige reparaties en een
groot onderhoud te laten uitvoeren vóór
een periode van stilstand, om te vermijden
dat u dit later vergeet.
Ga als volgt te werk:
u Demonteer de accu, zie pag. 96
(DEMONTEREN VAN DE ACCU) en
pag. 98 (NA LANGE INACTIVITEIT VAN
DE ACCU).
u Reinig de motorfiets en laat hem drogen,
zie pag. 107 (REINIGING).
u Poets de gelakte delen op met was.
u Pomp de banden op, zie pag. 42
(BANDEN).
OPMERKING Plaats de motorfiets
in een onverwarmde, niet-vochtige ruimte,
beschermd tegen zonlicht en met een
minimum aan temperatuurschommelingen.
u Maak een plastic zak vast aan de
eindpijp van de uitlaatdemper, om het
binnendringen van vocht in de pijp te
voorkomen.
u Zet de motorfiets op de
middenstandaard m, zie pag. 58 (DE
MOTORFIETS OP DE STANDAARD
ZETTEN).
OPMERKING Plaats de motorfiets
op de voorsteun , zodat beide banden
de grond niet raken.
u Zet de motorfiets op de voorste
standaard, zie pag. 76 (DE
MOTORFIETS OP DE VOORSTE
STANDAARD ZETTEN).
u Dek de motorfiets af, maar bij voorkeur
niet met plastic of waterdichte
materialen.
NA EEN LANGE PERIODE VAN
STILSTAND
u Haal de motorfiets onder de afdekking
vandaan en maak hem schoon, zie pag.
107 (REINIGING).
u Controleer de laadtoestand van de accu,
zie pag. 96 (DEMONTEREN VAN DE
ACCU) en monteer hem, zie pag. 97
(MONTEREN VAN DE ACCU).
u Vul de brandstoftank, zie pag. 31
(BRANDSTOF).
u Voer de controles vooraf uit, zie pag. 49
(TABEL MET CONTROLES VOORAF).
WAARSCHUWING
Maak een testrit met lage snelheid in
een gebied waar weinig verkeer is.
