Lees aandachtig pag. 60
(ONDERHOUD).
WAARSCHUWING
Brandgevaar.
Houd brandstof en andere ontvlambare
stoffen uit de buurt van de elektrische
onderdelen.
Draai nooit de aansluiting van de
accukabels om.
Bij het aan- en loskoppelen van de accu
dient de contactschakelaar in de stand
“ ” te staan, om te vermijden dat
sommige onderdelen worden
beschadigd.
Sluit eerst de positieve kabel (+) aan,
daarna de negatieve (-).
Loskoppelen gebeurt in omgekeerde
volgorde.
OPMERKING Deze motorfiets is
uitgerust met een onderhoudsvrije accu,
die op uitzondering van occasionele
controles en opladen wanneer nodig geen
onderhoud vereist.
CONTROLEREN EN REINIGEN VAN
DE ACCU-AANSLUITINGEN
Lees aandachtig pag. 95 (ACCU).
u Controleer of het contactslot in de stand
“ ” staat.
u Demonteer het zadel, zie pag. 26
(ONTGRENDELEN/VERGRENDELEN
VAN HET PASSAGIERSZADEL).
u Verwijder het rode
beschermingselement (1).
u Controleer of de kabelaansluitingen (2)
en de accupolen (3):
– in goede staat zijn (niet verroest of
bedekt met koolresten);
– ingesmeerd met neutraal vet of vaseline.
Indien nodig:
u Maak eerst de negatieve (-) en dan de
positieve kabel (+) los.
u Veeg roest weg met een staalborstel.
u Sluit eerst de positieve (+) en dan de
negatieve kabel (-) aan.
u Smeer de aansluitklemmen van de
kabels en van de accu in met neutraal
vet of vaseline.
u Plaats het zadel terug, zie pag. 26
(ONTGRENDELEN/VERGRENDELEN
VAN HET PASSAGIERSZADEL).
