STARTEN
WAARSCHUWING
Deze motorfiets is een bijzonder
krachtige machine en moet geleidelijk
aan en met de grootste zorg worden
ingereden.
Plaats geen voorwerp aan de
binnenkant van het voorste scherm
(tussen het stuur en het dashboard), om
te vermijden dat de draaibewegingen
van het stuur en het zicht op het
dashboard zouden worden belemmerd.
OPMERKINGLees alvorens de motor
te starten aandachtig het hoofdstuk “veilig
rijden”, zie pag. 5 (VEILIG RIJDEN).
WAARSCHUWING
Uitlaatgassen bevatten koolmonoxide,
dat uiterst giftig is bij inademing.
Start de motorfiets niet in een gesloten
of slecht geventileerde ruimte.
Het niet opvolgen van deze
raadgevingen kan leiden tot
bewusteloosheid of zelfs tot de dood
door verstikking.
OPMERKINGMet de motorfiets op de
zijstandaard kan de motor enkel worden
gestart als de versnelling in neutraal staat;
als u in dit geval de versnellingen probeert
in te schakelen, stopt de motor.
Met de zijstandaard opgetrokken kan de
motor worden gestart met de versnelling in
neutraal of met de versnelling
ingeschakeld en de koppelingshendel
aangetrokken.
u Ga op de bestuurderspositie zitten, zie
pag. 46 (OP- EN AFSTAPPEN).
u Controleren of de standaard volledig is
ingeklapt.
u Controleren of de stuurschakelaar (1) in
de stand “ ” staat.
u Controleren of de motorstopschakelaar
(2) in de stand “ ” staat.
u Draai aan de sleutel (3) en zet de
startschakelaar op “ ” .
Nu gaan op het dashboard binnen drie
seconden de volgende onderdelen
branden:
– alle waarschuwingslampjes;
– alle lampjes van de displayverlichting;
– alle segmenten van het linkerdisplay;
– alle segmenten en opschriften van het
rechter, multifunctionele display;
– de wijzers van de instrumenten worden
aan het begin van de schaalverdeling
geplaatst;
en worden de lampjes, opschriften,
segmenten en instrumenten getest.
De brandstofpomp zet het
brandstoftoevoercircuit onder druk en
brengt een zoemend geluid voort dat
ongeveer drie seconden duurt.
