Personal Safety User Guide - January 2022
Manage Activity sharing with Apple Watch
If you have an Apple Watch and previously shared your Activity rings with someone,
they can see information about your activity level and workouts. It doesn’t give them any
information about your location.
You can hide your progress, or stop sharing your activity with a particular person entirely,
from the Sharing tab In The Activity app. There are no notifications if you stop sharing your
activity.
To change your activity sharing:
1. Open the Activity app on your Apple Watch.
2. Swipe left, then turn the Digital Crown to scroll to the bottom of the screen.
3. To remove someone you are sharing with, tap their name, then tap Remove.

Podcasts, and Safari apps, Shared with You can automatically organize it into a Shared with
You section for easy access.

Content that’s shared with you In The Messages app is automatically organized in a
Shared with You section In The Music, Apple TV, News, Photos, Podcasts, and Safari apps.
If there is content shared with you through Messages that you don’t want to appear in
associated apps, You can turn off this feature by person.
1. Tap Messages , then tap the conversation that has the content you don’t want to be
shared across apps.
2. When the thread opens, tap the person’s name at the top.
3. Turn off Show in Shared with You, then tap Done.
