2 Zorg ervoor dat de lichtnetadapter is aangesloten op de computer en op het

stopcontact.

Mac OS X en de bij de MacBook Air geleverde programma's installeren met behulp

van een gekoppelde computer

1 Volg de instructies voor het gebruik van Mac OS X-installatie op afstand, die beginnen

op pagina 48.

2 Klik op 'Ga door' in Mac OS X-installatie op afstand.

Tijdens de installatie worden er statusberichten op het scherm van de andere

computer weergegeven.

3 Klik op 'Aangepaste installatie' als u wilt kiezen wat u wilt installeren (Mac OS X en de

gebundelde software, of alleen de gebundelde software). Klik op 'Installeer' om een

standaardinstallatie uit te voeren.

Als u iCal, iChat AV, iSync, iTunes, Safari en de iLife '08-programma's wilt installeren,

moet u dubbel klikken op 'Install Mac OS X and Bundled Software'.

4 Selecteer uw MacBook Air als de doelschijf voor de installatie en volg de instructies

op het scherm.

Opmerking: Als u de oorspronkelijke, in de fabriek op de computer geïnstalleerde

software wilt herstellen, klikt u in het paneel 'Doelvolume selecteren' van het installatie-

programma op 'Opties' en selecteert u vervolgens de optie 'Wis en installeer'. Met deze

optie wordt de harde schijf van de MacBook Air gewist. Maak daarom eerst een reserve-

kopie van alle belangrijke gegevens.

5 Klik op 'OK' in Mac OS X-installatie op afstand, wacht tot de installatie is voltooid en klik

op 'Stop' om Mac OS X-installatie op afstand te sluiten.
