Voorbeeld met enquêteresultaten
In dit voorbeeld komen de verschillende statistische functies samen. Het voorbeeld
is gebaseerd op een hypothetische enquête. Het betreft een korte enquête (slechts
vijf vragen) met een zeer beperkt aantal respondenten (10). Elke vraag kon worden
beantwoord op een schaal van 1 tot en met 5 (om bijvoorbeeld het bereik van "nooit"
tot "altijd") aan te geven. Respondenten hadden ook de mogelijkheid de vraag
onbeantwoord te laten. Elke enquête werd gekoppeld aan een uniek nummer. In de
volgende tabel ziet u de resultaten. Vragen met een antwoord buiten het toegestane
bereik (onjuist) of onbeantwoorde vragen worden met een lege cel aangegeven in de
tabel.
Om een aantal van de statistische functies te kunnen demonstreren, moet u in die
gevallen aannemen dat het controlenummer van elke verzonden enquête een
alfabetisch voorvoegsel bevat en dat de schaal bestond uit A–E in plaats van 1–5. De
tabel zou er dan zo uitzien:
Aan de hand van deze tabel met gegevens en enkele statistische functies van iWork
kunt u informatie verzamelen over de enquêteresultaten. Het voorbeeld is met opzet
zeer beperkt van omvang en de resultaten zullen dus voor de hand liggen. Als het
echter gaat om 50, 100 of meer respondenten en misschien veel meer vragen, zullen
de resultaten niet voor de hand liggen.
