De iPad-software bijwerken of herstellen
U kunt de software van de iPad bijwerken via Instellingen op het apparaat of met iTunes op uw
computer. U kunt de iPad ook wissen en de gegevens van een reservekopie vervolgens met
iCloud of iTunes terugzetten.
Gegevens die zijn verwijderd, zijn niet meer toegankelijk via de gebruikersinterface van de iPad.
De gegevens zijn echter niet van de iPad gewist. Informatie over het wissen van alle inhoud en
instellingen is te vinden in De iPad opnieuw opstarten of instellen op pagina 137.
De iPad bijwerken
U kunt de software van de iPad bijwerken via Instellingen op het apparaat of met iTunes op uw
computer.
De iPad-software draadloos bijwerken: Tik op 'Instellingen' > 'Algemeen' > 'Software-update'.
De iPad controleert of er software-updates beschikbaar zijn.
De software bijwerken met iTunes: Elke keer dat u de iPad synchroniseert met iTunes,
controleert iTunes of er software-updates beschikbaar zijn. Zie Synchroniseren met iTunes op
pagina 17.

De iPad herstellen
U kunt met iTunes of iCloud de gegevens van een reservekopie terugzetten op de iPad.
Gegevens terugzetten van een iCloud-reservekopie: Stel de iPad opnieuw in om alle
instellingen en gegevens te wissen. Meld u aan bij iCloud en kies in de conguratie-assistent
de optie om gegevens van een reservekopie terug te zetten. Zie De iPad opnieuw opstarten of
instellen op pagina 137.
Gegevens terugzetten van een iTunes-reservekopie: Sluit de iPad aan op de computer waarmee
u gewoonlijk synchroniseert, selecteer het apparaat in het iTunes-venster en klik op 'Herstel'
(Mac) of 'Herstellen' (Windows) in het paneel 'Overzicht'.
Als de iPad-software is hersteld, kunt u de iPad als een nieuw apparaat congureren of de
muziek, video's, appgegevens en ander materiaal van een reservekopie terugzetten.

Instellingen voor mobiel netwerk
Met de instellingen voor mobiele data op de iPad (op Wi-Fi + Cellular-modellen) kunt u
de mobieledatavoorziening activeren, mobiel gebruik in- of uitschakelen of een pincode
toevoegen om de simkaart te vergrendelen. Voor bepaalde aanbieders kunt u ook uw
data-abonnement wijzigen.
