Stoppen der automatischen iCloud-Backups: Önen Sie „Einstellungen“ > „iCloud“ > „Backup“
und deaktivieren Sie die Option „iCloud-Backup“.
Musik, die nicht in iTunes gekauft wurde, wird nicht in iCloud-Backups gesichert. Diese Inhalte
können Sie aber mit iTunes sichern und wiederherstellen. Weitere Informationen nden Sie unter
Synchronisieren mit iTunes auf Seite 22.
Wichtig: Nicht in allen Regionen können Backups von Musik, Filmen oder Fernsehsendungen
erstellt werden. Vorherige Einkäufe können möglicherweise nicht wiederhergestellt werden,
wenn sie im iTunes Store, App Store oder iBooks Store nicht mehr vorhanden sind.
Gekaufte Inhalte, die iCloud-Fotofreigabe sowie Fotostream beanspruchen keinen Teil Ihres kos-
tenlosen 5 GB-Speicherplatzes in iCloud.

Aktualisieren und Wiederherstellen der iPad-Software
Die iPad-Software kann über „Einstellungen“ oder in iTunes aktualisiert werden. Sie können
das iPad auch löschen oder wiederherstellen. Verwenden Sie iCloud oder iTunes zum
Wiederherstellen der Daten aus einem Backup.
Sie können über die iPad-Oberäche nicht mehr auf gelöschte Daten zugreifen. Die Daten
werden jedoch nicht endgültig vom iPad entfernt. Weitere Informationen zum endgültigen
Löschen aller Inhalte und Einstellungen erhalten Sie unter Neustarten oder Zurücksetzen des
iPad auf Seite 185.
Aktualisieren des iPad
Die iPad-Software kann über „Einstellungen“ oder in iTunes aktualisiert werden.
Aktualisierung über WLAN auf dem iPad: Wählen Sie „Einstellungen“ > „Allgemein“ >
„Softwareaktualisierung“, um nach verfügbaren Updates für das iPad zu suchen.
Softwareaktualisierung in iTunes: iTunes überprüft jedes Mal, wenn Sie das iPad mit iTunes
synchronisieren, ob eine Softwareaktualisierung verfügbar ist. Weitere Informationen nden Sie
unter Synchronisieren mit iTunes auf Seite 22.

Wiederherstellen des iPad
Stellen Sie das iPad mit iCloud oder iTunes aus einem Backup wieder her.
Wiederherstellen aus iCloud-Backup: Setzen Sie das iPad zurück, um alle Inhalte und
Einstellungen zu löschen. Wählen Sie dann „Aus Backup wiederherstellen“ und melden Sie sich
im Systemsassistenten bei iCloud an. Weitere Informationen nden Sie unter Neustarten oder
Zurücksetzen des iPad auf Seite 185.
Wiederherstellen aus iTunes-Backup: Verbinden Sie das iPad mit dem Computer, den Sie übli-
cherweise für die Synchronisierung verwenden, wählen Sie das iPad in iTunes aus und klicken Sie
im Bildschirm „Übersicht“ auf „Wiederherstellen“.
Wird die iPad-Software wiederhergestellt, können Sie das iPad entweder als neues Gerät kongu-
rieren oder Ihre Musik, Videos, Apps und andere Inhalte aus einem Backup wiederherstellen.
