FaceTime
FaceTime ist der Dienst von Apple für Video- und Audioanrufe. Für FaceTime-Anrufe wird
der Apple-Dienst für Push-Benachrichtigungen zum Herstellen der Verbindung verwendet.
Anschließend wird der verschlüsselte Stream mithilfe von Internet Connectivity Establishment
(ICE) und Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) erstellt. Benutzer können mit FaceTime zwischen
Geräten kommunizieren, die iOS oder OS X verwenden.
Hinweis: Für FaceTime-Anrufe müssen beide Gesprächsteilnehmer ein FaceTime-fähiges Gerät
und eine WLAN-Verbindung nutzen. FaceTime über ein Mobilfunknetz erfordert ein iPhone 4s
oder neuer, ein iPad mit Retina Display oder neuer oder ein mobilfunkfähiges iPad mini oder
neuer. Die Verfügbarkeit über ein Mobilfunknetz ist abhängig vom Mobilfunkanbieter. Es können
Datengebühren anfallen.
Siri
Benutzer können durch normales Sprechen Siri anweisen, E-Mails zu senden, Meetings zu planen,
Anrufe zu tätigen und anderes mehr. Siri nutzt Funktionen für die Spracherkennung und für die
Umsetzung von geschriebenem Text in Sprache sowie ein Client-Server-Modell zur Beantwortung
vielfältiger Anfragen. Bei den von Siri unterstützten Aufgaben wurde Wert darauf gelegt,
dass möglichst wenig persönliche Daten genutzt und diese vollständig geschützt werden.
Siri-Anfragen und -Sprachaufnahmen sind nicht mit persönlichen IDs versehen. Nach Möglichkeit
werden Siri-Funktionen auf dem iOS-Gerät und nicht auf dem Server ausgeführt.
Hinweis: Siri ist möglicherweise nicht in allen Sprachen oder Regionen verfügbar, und die
Funktionalität kann je nach Region variieren. Der Internetzugang ist erforderlich. Es können
Mobilfunkgebühren anfallen.
Apple-ID für Schüler
Das Programm „Apple-ID für Schüler“ richtet sich an Schüler unter 13 Jahren. Die Apple-IDs werden
von der Schule bzw. von der zuständigen Schulbehörde angefordert und von Apple erstellt.
Dazu ist ein von einem Elternteil oder Erziehungsberechtigten unterschriebenes Parent Privacy
Disclosure and Consent-Formular erforderlich. Diese Methode entspricht dem Children’s Online
Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
