Microsoft Exchange
iOS kann über Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) direkt mit Microsoft Exchange Server
kommunizieren. Dadurch werden auch Push-Funktionen für E-Mails, Abwesenheitsnotizen,
Kalenderereignisse, Kontaktdaten, Notizen und Aufgaben ermöglicht. Exchange ActiveSync bietet
darüber hinaus Benutzern den Zugri auf die globale Adressliste und stellt Administratoren
Funktionen zur Durchsetzung von Coderichtlinien und für die Fernlöschfunktion zur Verfügung.
iOS unterstützt sowohl die einfache als auch die zertikatbasierte Authentizierung für
Exchange ActiveSync.
Wenn Ihr Unternehmen derzeit Exchange ActiveSync verwendet, sind die notwendigen
Dienste zur Unterstützung von iOS bereits vorhanden, In diesem Fall ist keine weitere
Konguration notwendig.
