When I turn off my Soundcore Life Q20 headphones, then later : 6414

When I turn off my Soundcore Life Q20 headphones, then later turn them back on, they echo sound from my Apple M1-based MacBook Air when they re-connect. Apple says it's a problem with the Bluetooth in the headset, not their OS? (I can manually reset the MacBook's Bluetooth, and re-connect to the SoundCore, and it works okay. But, until I reset the Mac's Bluetooth, the echoing from the earphones makes them unusable.)
Is there a solution from SoundCore? Perhaps updated firmware? Or, am I doing something wrong?
