KAKO HLADILNIK UPORABLJAMO EKONOMIČNO
Praktični nasveti
Ne umeščajte hladilnika ali zamrzovalnika blizu
grelnikov, pečic, ali tja, kjer lahko neposredno
nanj sveti sonce.
Preverite, da ventilacijske odprtine niso zakrite.
Enkrat ali dvakrat letno jih je potrebno očistiti,
pobrisati prah.
Izbrati primerno temperaturo: temperatura 6 do
8°C v hladilniku oz.-18°C v zamrzovalniku je
zadostna.
Ko gremo na počitnice, je potrebno temperaturo
v hladilniku zvišati.
Vrata hladilnika ali zamrzovalnika odpirajte
samo, kadar je to res potrebno. Dobro je ve-
deti, kakšna živila so shranjena v hladilniku in
kje točno se nahajajo. Neporabljene izdelke je
potrebno kar se da hitro shraniti nazaj v hladilnik
ali v zamrzovalnik, preden se ogrejejo.
Redno brišite notranjost hladilnika s krpo, na-
vlaženo z nežnim detergentom. Napravo brez
funkcije avtomatičnega odmrzovanja je potrebno
redno odmrzovati. Ne pustite, da se v napravi
naredi led debeline več kot 10 mm.
Tesnilo okoli vrat je potrebno ohraniti čisto, v
nasprotnem primeru se vrata ne bodo dobro
zapirala. Vedno je potrebno poškodovano tesnilo
zamenjati.
Kaj pomenijo zvezdice?
* Temperatura, ki ni višja od -6°C zadošča za
shranjevanje zamrznjenih živil pribl. en teden.
Predali ali komore, ki so označene z eno
zvezdico, se (najpogosteje) sreča pri cenejših
hladilnikih.
** Pri temperaturi pod -12°C lahko živila shranju-
jemo 1-2 tedna brez izgube okusa. Ta tempe-
ratura ni primerna za zamrzovanje živil.
*** Najpogosteje pri zamrzovanju živil je shranje-
vanje pod -18°C. To zagotavlja zamrzovanje
svežih živil teže do 1 kg.
**** Tako označena naprava zagotavlja shranjeva-
nje živil pri temperaturi pod -18°C in zamrzo-
vanje večje količine živil.
Temperaturne cone v hladilniku
Zaradi naravnega kroženja zraka v komori hla-
dilnika nastopajo različne temperaturne cone.
Najhladnejše območje se nahaja neposredno
nad predali za zelenjavo. W tej coni shranjujemo
le delikatne in lahko pokvarljive izdelke kot so:
- ribe, meso, perutnina,
- mesne izdelke, gotove jedi,
- jedi ali pekovske izdelke, ki vsebujejo
jajca ali smetano,
- sveže testo, mešanice test,
- pakirano zelenjavo in druga sveža živila
z etiketo, ki določa shranjevanje pri temperaturi
okoli 4°C.
Najbolj toplo je v zgornjem delu vrat. Tu je naj-
bolje shranjevati maslo in sire.
Izdelki, ki jih ne smete shranjevati v hladilniku
Vsi izdelki niso primerni za shranjevanje v hla-
dilniku. Med te spadajo:
- sadje in zelenjava, občutljivi na nizke
temperature, kot na primer banane, avokado,
papaja, marakuja, jajčevci, paprika, paradižniki
in kumare,
- nezrelo sadje,
- krompir.
