OPERATION
Operation time limiting
To increase reliability of the plate, it is provided
with an operation time limiter for each hotplate.
The maximal time of operation depends on the
last selected heating power level.
If the heating power is not changed during the
specied time (see the Table), the hotplate will be
switched off automatically and the residual tem-
perature indicator “H” will be lighted. However, you
can switch on and adjust the individual hotplates at
any time, according to the instructions of use.
Timer function
If the appliance is equipped with a timer, it can be used to set the operating time of any cook-
ing zone. First activate the timer function by pressing (+) or (-) sensor eld (cooking zone
displays will show the letter ”t”). Set the desired heat setting for a chosen cooking zone using
(+) or (-) sensor eld and then set the required operating time for the selected cooking zone
using (+) or (-) sensor eld.
Settings can be changed for only one cooking zone at a time.
The display of the cooking zone with timer function activated will alternate between showing
the letter “t” and the chosen heat setting. When the set time has elapsed, a brief acoustic
signal is sounded repeatedly. Flashing “0” will be shown on the relevant cooking zone display
and the cooking zone will switch off.
If timer function is activated when no cooking zone is in operation, no LED pilot light comes
on by the timer display and this function can be then used as a regular kitchen timer.
Kitchen Timer
Kitchen timer can be used to time various duties requiring precise timing such as boiling eggs,
or to time other activities that are not directly associated with the appliance operation. Timer
can be set from 0 to 99 minutes.
To set kitchen timer:
• touch timer sensor eld once,
• set the desired time (for example 5 minutes) by touching sensor elds (+) or (-).
When the set time has elapsed, a brief acoustic signal is sounded repeatedly.
