OPERATION AND FUNCTIONS

The appliance shall be used for its intended pur-
pose; this appliance has functions and operating
modes as shown on the gures. When you rst
start the appliance, icons appear on the con-
trol panel. The icons will fade if no buttons were
pressed and the door remained closed.
Temperature control
Recommended temperature in the freezer is
-18°C. To change the temperature, follow the
instructions below. Warning! The set temperature
is an average temperature within the compartment.
Temperatures in the compartments may differ from
the values on the display, depending on the quan-
tity of stored products and their storage location.
Ambient temperature may also impact the actual
temperature in the appliance.
1. Freezer
To set the desired freezer temperature between
-14°C and -24°C, press the "Freezer" button, and
the control panel will display a corresponding value
according to the following sequence.
2. Super Freeze ( )
With the Super Freeze function you can rapidly re-
duce temperature in the freezer, so that foodstuffs
retained vitamins and nutrients and will remain
fresh for longer.
• Press the "Super Freeze" button to activate the
super freeze function. The icon is lit.
• Freezing the maximum quantity of food takes ap-
proximately 24 hours.
• The Super Freeze function is automatically disa-
bled after 26 hours, and the temperature set on the
freezer is -24°C.
• The "Super Freeze" mode may be turned off by
pressing the "Super Freeze" or "Freezer" button.
Previous freezer temperature setting will be re-
stored.
3. Eco Energy ( )
When you plan longer absence, use Eco Energy
function. Press and hold the "Eco Energy" button
for 3 seconds until the icon is lit.
Note: When Eco Energy function is active, the tem-
perature in the freezer compartment is automati-
cally switched to -15
o
C in order to minimize energy
consumption.
Eco Energy function may be disabled with the Eco
Energy or Freezer button. Temperature settings will
return to previously set.
4. Alarm ( )
In the event of an alarm, the icon "Alarm" will ap-
pear with a beeping sound. To stop the alarm, press
the "Alarm" button. The "Alarm" icon will stop ash-
ing and the beeping sound stops.
Door alarm
• When the refrigerator or freezer door is open for
more than two minutes, the door alarm is enabled.
You will hear 3 beeps every 1 minute, and will turn
off automatically after 10 minutes.
• To reduce energy consumption, avoid leaving
the refrigerator-freezer door open for a long time.
Another way to turn off the alarm is to close the
refrigerator door.
Elevated temperature alarm
• If the temperature in the freezer is too high due to
power supply issues or other factors, the tempera-
ture alarm will start, and the display may show "--".
• If the door is open, the alarm will be active for 10
minutes, then it turns off.
• When the alarm is active, press and hold the
"Alarm" button for 3 seconds, the display will show
the highest temperature recorded in the freezer
compartment.
In the event of a repeated power failure, there will
be an elevated temperature alarm, which is normal.
The alarm can be turned off by pressing the "Alarm"
button.
5. Power
If you want to switch off the appliance completely
(for cleaning for example), press the "Power" but-
ton.
If the appliance is on, press and hold the "Power"
button for 5 seconds, in the meantime, the display
turns off. After switching off the appliance, do not
store food in it. To switch on the appliance again,
press the "Power" button for 1 second. The appli-
ance will return to the previously set temperature.
6. Child Lock-
The appliance is equipped with a child lock. When
the child lock is enabled, the control panel is not
active. To enable the child lock, hold the Child Lock
button for 3 seconds, the display shows a lock sym-
bol. To disable the child lock, hold the Child Lock
button for 3 seconds, the lock symbol goes off.
