2. Attendere che il tostapane si raffreddi.
3. Estrarre il vassoio di raccolta briciole 9 (vedi figuraC).
4. Girare il tostapane su un lato in modo che la fetta di pane possa cadere.
Se necessario, utilizzare un bastone di legno, per es. un manico di un cucchiaio di
legno, per rimuovere la fetta di pane bloccata.
Suggerimenti e note sul funzionamento
• Usare un livello di doratura inferiore se si tostano prodotti da forno secchi, perché
i prodotti da forno secchi si dorano prima di quelli freschi.
• Il centraggio automatico assicura che le fette all'interno del tostapane si trovino al
centro durante la tostatura tra gli elementi riscaldanti e si dorino in modo uniforme.
• Tra due operazioni di tostatura attendere almeno mezzo minuto, in modo da
ottenere una doratura uniforme dei prodotti da forno ed evitare il surriscalda-
mento del tostapane.
• Selezionare un grado di doratura superiore per prodotti come pane nero o pro-
dotti chiari come il pane bianco.
• Le cifre del regolatore di doratura 5 non indicano un orario. Servono solo come
indicazione del grado di doratura.
• Provare prima con un minor grado di doratura perché influiscono il tipo di pane e
il suo spessore, nonché la temperatura del grado di doratura.
• Selezionare un livello di doratura inferiore se si tosta solo una fetta.
• L'accessorio per panini 1 può anche essere utilizzato per riscaldare pane per
hot-dog o hamburger.
Acrilamide
Sulla base delle informazioni attuali, l'acrilamide si forma come “effetto collaterale”
della cosiddetta reazione di doratura quando si cuoce, si arrostisce, si griglia, si frigge
e si tostano alimenti ricchi di carboidrati, come i prodotti a base di cereali.
L'acrilamide, sulla base di studi condotti su animali, è considerato cancerogeno e muta-
geno e si forma soprattutto sulla superficie degli alimenti. Pertanto, si consiglia di arrostire
pane, panini e altri prodotti da forno solo brevemente e con un grado di doratura basso.
