Preparing sandwiches correctly
Preferably use sandwich bread for toasting. This bread is slightly larger than normal
bread for toasting and offers the advantage that the edges will be sealed during
toasting. The filling will be held better in the toasted sandwich this way.
Place the required ingredients (e.g. cheese, ham, pickles, ketchup, onions etc.)
on 2 slices of toast.
Please note the following points for preparation:
The filling should not be too wet, as the sandwiches will otherwise not become
crisp.
You will achieve the best results, if you do not spread out the fillings of the toast
slices right up to the outer edges, but leave a sufficient strip between the filling
and the edges of the toast. This way, your sandwich will be sealed all the way
around. This way, you will avoid the ingredients escaping on the sides between
the bread slices when closing the sandwich maker.
Ensure that the filling is completely covered.
Avoid overcooking. The filling will become too hot and the resulting gases will
push the filling out of the sealed toast.

Do not touch the hot parts of the sandwich maker. Be
particularly careful when folding open the housing lid and
when the sandwich maker is open.
Allow the sandwich maker to cool off completely before
cleaning or stowing it away.

Improper handling of the sandwich maker can result in damage to
the device.
The sandwich plates have a non-stick coating. Therefore, do
not cut sandwiches on the sandwich plates.
