WARNING/MAINTENANCE
GENERAL:
• Carefully read the user’s manual and follow all directions.
• Before cleaning the speaker, always remove the mains cable from the wall socket
and switch off the speaker.
• Clean the cabinet with a slightly moist cloth.
• Never place or use the set in wet or humid space or environment.
• Ensure adequate heat dissipation; never cover the set nor place it directly next to a
heat source.
• Overload and overheating! The system can withstand long-term overload
damage and is not covered by warranty. Control panel can become very hot
and emit an odor. Advice to reduce the input signal or to decrease the overall
output volume.
• Prevent damaging the mains cable and ensure it doesn’t cause a risk of tripping or
falling.
• Never disassemble the set; this may only be performed by qualied personnel.
• Only turn on the speaker after setting all volume controls to MINIMUM (0), to avoid
possible scares when switching on.
• Prolonged listening to high volume levels can cause hearing damage
BEFORE USE
The PAS-500 functions on the mains.
The PAS-500 line array satellites function on the built-in speakers in the subwoofer and
must be connected using the supplied speaker cables.
MAINS VOLTAGE:
Only connect the PAS-500 subwoofer to a mains voltage of 230 Volt. The mains in most
European countries works on 115 Volt.
Use the supplied power cord to connect the PAS-500 with the mains.
AMPLIFIER SETTINGS
POWER SWITCH:
Use the power switch to switch on the amplier.
INPUT:
Connect an external audio source to the input of the PAS-500.
The connection can be made with XLR.
LEFT/RIGHT VOLUME CONTROL (LINE ARRAY SPEAKERS):
Use the LEFT and RIGHT volume controls to adjust the volume of the line array
speakers. When the volume reaches the maximum level, the related peak LED will
illuminate.
