ATENCIÓN:
• Si se pregunta acerca de la causa de una alarma,
lo habitual es que sea causada por un incendio,
si es asi evacue la casa inmediatamente.
• Mantenga a los niños lejos del humo.
• En caso de reparaciones proteger el detector para
evitar que pierda su funcionalidad.
MANTENIMIENTO:
Limpie el detector con un paño humedo, no utilice productos
quimicos o cualquier liquido que pueda estropear el detector.
CREAR Y PLANES DE ESCAPE:
• Elabore un plano indicando todas las puertas y ventanas,
para una salida inmediata. En las plantas superiores con
ventanas pueden necesitar una cuerda o una escalera.
• Hacer todos los que viven en la casa familiar conozcan
el sonido de la alarma y la práctica de abandonar la casa
cuando la ecuchen. Repita el ejercicio con regularidad.
• No abra ninguna puerta interior durante la evacuación,
sin sentir si la superficie de la puerta está caliente, si es
asi no abra esa puerta. Tampoco si hay humo saliendo
de las grietas de la puerta. Elige otro escape.
• Si la puerta interior está fría, apoye su hombro contra
ella, abra la puerta un poco y verifique el calor y el humo
que haya en la habitación. Esté preparado para cerrar la
puerta en caso de peligro.
• Als Si hay una gran cantidad de humo en el aire, per-
manezca cerca del suelo y respire a través de un paño
preferentemente húmedo.

REEMPLAZO DE LA BATERÍA:
El detector funciona con 3 pilas de litio de 3V. En condiciones
normales, las pilas duran 5 años. En el momento que las
baterías necesitan ser reemplazadas, el detector emite cada
30 a 40 segundos un “chirrido” de sonido. Sin pilas, no puede
funcionar el detector. Coloque las baterias en la forma correcta,
