DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

This product conforms to the provisions of the EC directive

93/42/EEC (Medical Device Directive).

INSTALATION

Batteries:

1. Remove the battery cover and insert four batteries with

correct polarity (see the symbol in the battery compartment).

2. Replace the battery cover.

Only discard of empty batteries. They should not be

disposed off in the household waste, but at appropriate

collection sites or at your dealer.

Main unit:

Connect the air connector with the air plug and securely affix

the fastening hole to the fastening protrusion.

Arm cuff:

1. Turn the palm of your hand upward. Place mark

cloth inside your arm and match the end of the

arm cuff to approximately 1-2 cm from the

flexed side of the elbow joint of

your arm (nipple level) and

wrap the arm cuff on the arm.

2. Hold the end of the arm cuff

and wrap it up by gently pulling so

that there is no gap between the arm cuff and the arm.

TIME AND DATE

Because the time and date of a measurement are stored toge-

ther with the measuring-results, the actual time and date must

be set:

1. Press and hold button until after appr. 5 seconds the

year indication starts to flash, you may now release this

button.

2. Use buttons and to set the correct year and press

button , the month indication starts to flash.

3. Repeat instruction 2 for the date, hour and minute settings.
