INTRODUCTIE

De Alecto BDM-100 is een bloeddrukmonitor die is ont-

wikkeld om bij de pols gemakkelijk en nauwkeurig de

bloeddruk te kunnen meten.

Voor het verkrijgen van betrouwbare metingen, moeten

bloeddrukmonitors altijd op een geschikte positie ter

hoogte van het hart worden gehouden.

Gedurende de gehele dag is onze bloeddruk aan wis-

selingen onderhevig. In de ochtend stijgt hij sterk en

aan het eind van de ochtend vindt er een daling plaats.

Daarna stijgt de bloeddruk weer in de namiddag om ‘s

nachts uiteindelijk een laag niveau te bereiken.

Dit is de reden waarom de meetresultaten kunnen

variëren wanneer op verschillende tijdstippen van de

dag wordt gemeten.

Door thuis regelmatig bloeddrukmetingen uit te voeren,

kunt u uw arts voorzien van waardevolle informatie

over uw werkelijke «alledaagse» bloeddrukwaarden.

Standaardwaarden:

Bloeddruk normaal lichte ernstige

(mm Hg) hypertensie hypertensie

bovenwaarde (SYS) tot 140 140-180 meer dan 180

onderwaarde (DIA) tot 90 90-110 meer dan 110
