INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
During the winter period you can suffer from dry skin, irritated nose,
frequent colds, a sore throat, etc. due to the lack to moisture. Humidifi ers
provide a certain level of moisture to protect our health. Follow all the
maintenance instructions carefully for optimal enjoyment of the humidifi er,
and prevention of any possible malfunction to the unit. If the recommen-
ded care and maintenance of the unit are not followed,
it is possible that micro-organisms can breed in the water of the humidi-
fi er.
DAILY MAINTENANCE:
1. Turn off the power and unplug the device from the electrical outlet
before cleaning.
2. Lift up the water tank and the base of humidifi er.
3. Bring the water tank to a sink and let it drain, then rinse it thoroughly
removing any sediment and dirt. Wipe the water tank thoroughly with
a clean soft cloth or tissue.
4. Fill the water tank with fresh preferably demineralised or distilled
water, as indicated in the instructions on how to fi ll a water tank.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE:
1. Repeat steps 1-3 from the above steps.
2. Pour a cup of white cleaning vinegar (about 200 ml) into the basin and
let it soak for around 15 minutes. Then wipe down the residue inside
the basin with a soft brush.
3. Remove any remaining white vinegar residue with a clean soft cloth.
TAKE NOTE MAINTENANCE:
• Make sure that the base is never immersed in water.
• Do not use cleaning chemical solvents or aggressive cleaning agents
to clean the device.
• Clean the inside with a soft cloth.
