We have a new Alcatel XL 280 voice. Our telephone and internet system is by Orange Livebox. Having set it all up according to the manual we cannot play messages from the base station, nor does it show the number of messages received. It is permanently showing 00. Messages can be listened to by dialing the orange message line on the phone, or through the computer, so it is not ultra important that we should be able to use the base station. Have we done something wrong when setting up, or is it working as it should?
