Making the most of your
tablet ......................................
11.1 Updates
Use the Updates app to update your tablet software. To
access Updates, go to Settings > System > Advanced >
System updates.
Touch CHECK FOR UPDATES and the tablet will
search for the latest software. If you want to update
the system, touch the DOWNLOAD NEW VERSION
button, and when that’s finished, touch INSTALL to
complete the update. Now your tablet will have the
latest version of the software. Turn on Wi-Fi before
searching for updates. Settings for Automatically
download are also available once you restart the tablet.
If you have chosen Automatically download, when the
system discovers the new version, a dialog will pop
up where you can choose to download the update or
ignore. A notification will also appear in the Status bar.
During FOTA downloading or updating, to avoid errors
in locating the correct update packages, do not change
your default storage location.
