8.1.4 Call Settings
Use Call settings to configure normal phone call settings and other special
features offered by your operator. You can also use Call settings to
configure the phone so that it can place outgoing calls only to a fixed set
of phone numbers.
Voicemail
Touch to set your voicemail number.
Call waiting
Touch the switch to turn on call waiting.
Caller ID
Touch to use default operator settings to display my number in outgoing
calls.
Fixed dialling numbers
Fixed Dialling Number (FDN) is a service mode of SIM, where outgoing
calls are restricted to a set of phone numbers. These numbers are added to
the FDN list. The most common practical application of FDN is for parents
to restrict the phone numbers to which their children can dial. For security
reasons, you’ll be prompted to enable FDN by entering SIM PIN2 which is
usually acquired from your service provider or SIM maker.
Call forwarding
Configure how your calls are forwarded when you're busy, unable to
answer or unreachable. There are four forwarding methods, including
Always forward, Forward when busy, Forward when unanswered,
and Forward when unreachable.
8.1.5 Messaging Settings
Message confirmation
Delivery reports Touch the switch to enable notification of delivery
for each message sent.
Multimedia messaging (MMS)
Read reports Touch the switch to enable read report for each
message sent.
Auto retrieve Select Off, On with roaming, or On without roaming
for auto retrieve function.
WAP Push messages
WAP Push Touch the switch to enable or to disable WAP Push
messages.
Cell broadcast messages
Cell broadcast Touch the switch to enable cell broadcast messages.
8.1.6 Cellular & Data
You can enable or disenable your data connection by touching Settings\
Cellular & Data.
Touch the switch to enable or to disable your data connection
and data roaming settings.
Use the app on your Home screen to check your data usage and
to set notifications when you reach low levels.
