4. NOTES/ERRORS
Bluetooth symbol display
Grey Bluetooth symbol on the e-x display: Bluetooth is active.
Blue Bluetooth symbol: Devices are linked.
Bluetooth symbol not visible: No Bluetooth module tted in the
control unit.
Red Bluetooth symbol: Connection/hardware error, the e-x must
be switched off/on to reconnect the devices. If a connection still
cannot be established, refer to the following item.
Bluetooth connection cannot be established
Activate/deactivate Bluetooth on your smartphone. Restart the app
and e-x and try to establish a connection. If this doesn‘t solve the
problem, reinstall the app on your smartphone. If even this doesn‘t
solve the problem, contact your specialist dealer or our Alber
service.
Sources of interference for Bluetooth connection
If a Bluetooth connection cannot be established between your
smartphone and the e-x control unit or if the Bluetooth connec-
tion aborts, there may be other Bluetooth devices or products
operating in a frequency range of 2.4 to 5 GHz (microwave trans-
mitters, wireless cameras, baby monitors, WLAN devices).
Aborting remote connection
If the remote control is active, it can be aborted by pressing any key
on the control unit or moving the joystick. The e-x remains in its
current position. If required, the control system can be re-engaged.
Remote not available
You cannot start the remote function if you are in the menu of the
e-x control unit or the intuitive attendant control is activated.
