13. Fill: premere questo tasto per riprodurre il fill per la sequenza corrente (A, B oppure A e B). Per
saperne di più, si veda il paragrafo Informazioni sui pattern.
14. Pattern Select: premere questo tasto e selezionare un pattern (A) premendo uno dei 16
interruttori Step per selezionare il pattern recante lo stesso numero oppure (B) girando la
manopola Tempo (quando si sceglie un pattern, la manopola Tempo non regolerà il tempo).
Premerlo nuovamente per tornare al funzionamento normale. Facendo questo durante la
riproduzione, il pattern corrente finirà prima di passare a quello successivo.
15. Last Step: premere questo tasto per impostare la lunghezza del pattern. La lunghezza del
pattern (in passi) comparirà a display e gli indicatori di passo Step recanti lo stesso numero si
illumineranno di giallo. Premere uno dei 16 interruttori di passo Step oppure girare la manopola
Tempo per impostare la lunghezza del pattern (in passi). Se il tasto Seq Variation presenta A o
B accesi, la lunghezza massima del pattern è di 16 passi. Se A e B sono entrambi accesi, la
lunghezza massima del pattern è di 32 passi, mentre quella minima è di 17 passi. Premere
nuovamente il tasto Last Step per tornare al funzionamento normale.
16. Volume Main: girare questa manopola per impostare il volume di uscita dell’uscita Main e
dell’uscita Cuffie del Tom Cat.
17. Maul: girare questa manopola per impostare la quantità di overdrive (distorsione) applicata
all’uscita Main e all’uscita Cuffie del Tom Cat.

1. Ingresso CC: servirsi dell’adattatore di alimentazione in dotazione (12V, 2A, centro-positivo) per
collegare questo jack a una presa a muro.
2. Tasto di alimentazione: premere questo tasto per accendere e spegnere il Tom Cat.
Importante: dopo aver acceso il Tom Cat, lasciare che si scaldi prima di utilizzarlo. La sintonia
può essere influenzata negativamente dalla temperatura.
3. Sicura per il cavo: è possibile fissare il cavo a questa sicura per evitare che si scolleghi
accidentalmente.
4. Porta USB: servirsi di un cavo USB standard per collegare questa porta a una porta USB
disponibile del computer. Questo collegamento consente al Tom Cat di inviare e ricevere dati
MIDI tramite USB da e verso il computer.
5. Slot per lucchetto Kensington: servirsi di questa apertura per lucchetto Kensington per fissare
il Tom Cat a un tavolo o ad altre superfici.
6. Uscita Main: servirsi di un cavo TRS o TS standard da 6,35 mm (1/4”) per collegare questa
uscita a livello di linea all’ingresso di un’interfaccia audio, di un mixer, di un impianto di
amplificazione, ecc.
7. Uscita cuffie: collegare cuffie stereo standard da 6,35 mm (1/4”) a questa uscita.
8. MIDI Out/Thru: servirsi di un cavo MIDI standard a cinque poli per collegare questa uscita MIDI
all’ingresso MIDI di un dispositivo MIDI esterno (ad esempio un sintetizzatore, un sequenziatore,
una drum machine, ecc.). Premere il tasto MIDI Out/Thru per impostare la funzione di questo
jack. A display verrà illustrato quale è attualmente selezionato. Si veda Interruttori Step: MIDI
Out/Thru per saperne di più.
9. Ingresso MIDI: servirsi di un cavo MIDI standard a cinque poli per collegare questo ingresso
MIDI all’uscita MIDI di un dispositivo MIDI esterno (ad esempio un altro controller MIDI). Per
maggiori informazioni, recarsi alla pagina akaipro.com per scaricare l’ultima versione dello
schema di implementazione MIDI.
10. Uscita Gate Trig: servirsi di un cavo standard TS da 3,5 mm (1/8”) per collegare questa uscita
all’ingresso di un dispositivo esterno opzionale in grado di ricevere i messaggi Gate (trigger) del
Tom Cat.
11. Ingresso Gate Trig: servirsi di un cavo standard TS da 3,5 mm (1/8”) per collegare questo ingresso
all’uscita di un dispositivo esterno opzionale per inviare i messaggi Gate (trigger) al Tom Cat.
