Controles de transporte
El botón Play/Stop del Tom Cat funciona de manera diferente en función de su ajuste de Sync
(interruptor de paso 13).
Cuando se ajusta a interno:
• Pulse el botón Reproducir/Pausa para iniciar o detener la reproducción.
• Durante la reproducción, pulse Velocity y Play/Stop al mismo tiempo para reiniciar la
reproducción desde el comienzo del patrón.
• Cuando el conector MIDI Out/Thru del Tom Cat está ajustado en Out, envía Start (Inicio), Stop
(Parada), Continue (Continuar), Clock (Reloj) y SongPosPtr=0 (Posición del puntero de la
canción en 0) MIDI dependiendo de su estado de transporte.
• La salida Gate Trig Out del Tom Cat pulsará cada vez que avanza un paso.
Cuando se ajusta a externo o USB:
• La reproducción del Tom Cat responde a los mensajes Start, Stop, Continue, Clock y
SongPosPtr=0 MIDI entrantes.
• Los controles de transporte del Tom Cat no funcionarán.
Cuando se ajusta a compuerta:
• Tom Cat no recibirá ninguna información de la posición de la secuencia, pero puede regresarla
inmediatamente al paso uno realizando cualquiera de las siguientes acciones:
o Estando detenido, pulse Play/Stop.
o Durante la reproducción, pulse Velocity y Play/Stop simultáneamente.
• Tom Cat puede recibir mensajes de compuerta con divisiones de tiempo de 1/8 o 1/16
solamente:
o 1/8: Dos pulsos avanzarán la reproducción en un paso.
o 1/16: Un pulso avanzará la reproducción en un paso.
Nota: A diferencia de los mensajes MIDI normales, los mensajes de compuerta solo contienen
mensajes de Note On (Nota activada) (no contienen mensajes de CC, Note OFF, etc.). Debido a
esto, los mensajes de compuerta recibidos por Tom Cat están simplificados.
• La salida Gate Trig Out del Tom Cat imitará su entrada Gate Trig In.
Acerca de los patrones
Tom Cat puede almacenar hasta 16 patrones. Cada patrón consiste en cuatro secuencias:
secuencia A, secuencia B, relleno A y relleno B.
Para editar una secuencia o relleno, debe estar en modo Grabación de pasos o Grabación de
interpretación (consulte Edición de secuencias para aprender más). Para simplemente reproducir
sus patrones, puede estar en cualquiera de aquellos modos o en modo Grabación desactivada.
Para seleccionar un patrón, pulse Pattern Select y luego (A) pulse uno de los 16 interruptores de
paso para seleccionar el patrón del mismo número o (B) gire la perilla Tempo (al seleccionar un
patrón, la perilla tempo no ajustará el tempo). El indicador de paso del patrón actual estará
iluminado de color rojo. El indicador de paso del patrón que se reproducirá a continuación
parpadeará. Pulse Pattern Select nuevamente para volver al funcionamiento normal.
